Severe Shedding in < 1 Month

I have experienced approx 40% loss in about 2 weeks. It seemed to start ~ 1 week into propecia. Before this, I still had hair that I could style normally.

I have taken pics, wet and dry, from start of Sept. It is extremely evident how quickly my scalp has been revealed.

This seems extremely unusual. Has anyone noticed a shed of this magnitude this quickly?

Shed is all around the head, but mostly in the front and crown. This, coupled with the fact that it is going on so fast, makes me think I have diffuse unpatterned alopecia. In which case, there is absolutely no hope whatsover.

I'm in a similar situation.

but here's my theory.

I really just noticed that my hair was getting thinner about 4 months ago. then i really started noticing the hair falling out.

I got on propecia about a month ago but still see hair falling out.

male pattern baldness causes your hair to fall out, not propecia. but you'll notice your hair getting thinner and falling out still.. well.. because it still is!

I have hope that propecia will at least slow down my hair loss, i've only been on it about a month, so i'm not panicing yet. neither should you.
