I think I'm at day 59 or 60, haven't cut hair. Hair is still popping straight up on the top of my head. I haven't been keeping up w/ my MSM or multivitamin -- will try harder!

Thanks, i know there is thinning, but I cannot attribute how much is caused by lighting and/or my hair sticking straight up. On the sides my hair lays flat.

Then the only way is to let it grow, if i shave mine short, it almost looks like there are no thin patches, but when i grow it longer it becomes obvious.

To the contrary, I just gave myself a #2 buzz cut. I was getting a little fuzzy around the ears.

I figure it'll be the last of the season. I saw a lot of small hairs coming up through the longer ones. This will even that out a little.

I know what you mean by the hair sticking straight up, your hairloss pattern looks similar to mine your hairline is much better than mine btw. Ppl here have a hard time telling my progress going by my pics, but ppl that know me have actually commented that my hair looks much thicker than it was b4. I think that by the time you hit that 1 year mark, you'll really notice the difference. Anyhow i wish you the best of luck with your hair.

Yea, I have gotten comments that my hair looks good -- more so because in the change of length. I guess the buzz suits me. I do however feel that I have noticed some changes in the quality of my hair -- seems to have more life, bounce, etc. What were black dots before are turning into hairs. knock on wood.

just popped pill number 70. Things are going well. Nothing particular to report. Was in NYC over the weekend -- got hit on a few times, which is a good sign I suppose.

Did you ever have a shed on finasteride Fromchicago? I've only been on it a few weeks less than you and I've allready had a monster shed wich seems to have subsided, shaved my head and look to be seeing the first signs of regrown on the hairline.

Did you ever have a shed on finasteride Fromchicago? I've only been on it a few weeks less than you and I've allready had a monster shed wich seems to have subsided, shaved my head and look to be seeing the first signs of regrown on the hairline.

no shed yet -- something extremely minor on day 28. I check for hairs on the white suds of the nizoral. nothing.

after looking at your pics, you sure you don't just have a mature hairline?

what I don't understand about my case is, why my hairline hasn't suffered? If the hairline is more prone to DHT driven loss, why is mine still great (NOT COMPLAINING!!) -- just curious.

Anyway, Day 74 here and I'm noticing an uprising of smaller hairs under my already short #2.5 grade buzz. They seem to be growing, slowly but surely.

Hey, it looks like you are making some nice strides. I started the big 3 2 days before you and I have a very similar hair pattern to yours. Mine might have been a little worse, but I am also 28. I also added MSM to my regime. Keep up the good work!!! :mrgreen:

IMO I think you look better with your hair shorter like in the previous posts. Thats by no means saying you look bad now...just giving my opinion.

I'd like to put 2 shots up for comparison. The first one is 2 months in and the 2nd one is 3 months in.

To be honest the 2 mo. picture is a bit blurry and the 3 mo. is a bit chopped off for a decent comparison, but if I have to guess, I'd say that there hasn't been much of a change between months 2 and 3.
