What exactly should i be using to do it? Shaving Cream, Hair conditioner?

How often do i have to do it?

Is there any clippers that can do the same close shave as a razor blade?

Please recommend what to use to avoid razor bumps, irritation etc...

I heard people use Hair Conditioner to shave it with a blade. If so, which brand?

Thanks guys, I've come to the point where i need to move on and just live my life.

Ive been wet-shaving it to the bone since I was 21 (reached a Norwood 5 by age 20)…Really easy to do..All you need are the following:

Warm water

Shaving gel, which gives a closer shave than shaving foam.

A sharp razor blade

A clear mirror

Spend a couple of minutes with the warm water first rinsing your head to soften the hairs… this is really important and will significantly reduce the risk of shaving rash/cuts..then lather the gel all over, work it in for another couple of minutes and let it sink in for a minute or so too…this will improve the quality of the shave further..then youre ready to go..shave against the grain for a closer shave, with the grain for a standard one, and use the mirror to do the back of your head..round the ears can be tricky, so pay close attention to ensure you don’t miss any…if it’s the first time you’ve done it wet-shave then you may be in for a bit of shock..for me the thing that I absolutely detest the most about how it looks is the shine..i hate it so so much…so I apply talc to the top of my head which dulls it considerably…this only works however if you moisturise the head first, otherwise the talc doesn’t tub in and just makes it look like youre a bald guy with dandruff…if you like the shine then aloe vera oil will do the trick..

sorry forgot to mention...no ,theres no clippers you can use that will get it as short as a wet shave..and how often you have to do it depends on how short you want to keep it...

Hey i have one more question,, will i always be able to keep the hair on the sides and back if i do this wet shave, or will wet shave destroy any hair i have left.

The reason i ask is i want to keep sample hairs if hair cloning ever becomes a reality.

Yes but i need to know if shaving it with a razor blade will kill everything i have left, because i did it once and my their are spots of scalp all over my head as its growing back.

I agree with the feedback in the posts above.

I'd like to add some stuff that works for me:
* I like to keep it as short as possible but I found out the skin can't handle one shave per day. I need to stick with
one shave per 1.5 days. The first few times it's wise to wait longer between the shaves cause your skin needs to get
used to it.
* A tan makes a huge difference in your looks when you've got no hair on top. Pale and shiny really can be a bit scary,
even to yourself. I bought a face-tanning device. I use it on the front, back AND on top of my head. I built a construction for it (quite simple) so I can put it on when I go to sleep. It has a timer so it turns off in time.

do not buy that headblade thing. i got it and it was a complete waste of money. its not even effective. once your head is wet the wheel will just skid along the scalp, it wont turn therefore it is there for a cosmetic effect rather than a functional one. i just use the regular gillette blade does the job WAY BETTER.....trust me that sh*t was made for having people believe that its very effective when it isnt. it looks interesting but its not effective
