Seriously guys. I started on proscar 5 months ago and think its going pretty well as far as maintenance and maybe even regrowth but my jizz has gotten so watery since I started on Proscar. My girlfriend noticed right away. Do you think this is bad for chances of having kids in the future. I'm really nervous but I don't want to stop finasteride cause I really do think that I'm a good responder. Whatcha think????

when you want kids, you can get off the finasteride for a little time. it'll wash out of your system and you should be back to normal. although according to the feedback on 'askdocweb.com' about finasteride, it usually takes quite a while before you get back to normal. then again, some people go back to normal within max a week. its all relative. bottom line, no it wont ruin chances of having kids.

and if you're that concerned about your....jizz..sigh..go get yourself a volume enhancer. look around on actionlove.com or google for it.

Probably not. But to be on the safe side, if you are serious about having kids, I would go to a Doctor and have your ejaculate tested to see if you are capable of getting your girlfriend pregnant. That is what I would do. Are you planning on having kids sometime soon?

Yes, I have heard that finasteride does and can cause this watery semen thing. Matter in fact, when I first started out treating my male pattern baldness, when I didn't know that much :roll: , I was taking saw palmetto extract and it gave me watery ejaculate. I wonder if I started taking finasteride it would do the same thing. That is the only side effect I had when on SP. But, I have never heard of anyone having complications having children while on finasteride. Just don't ever let your honey come in contact with the finasteride. It will cause bad effects with the child if she becomes pregnant around that time.

My pharmacist said to stay off finasteride for a few months before trying to have kids or giving blood. As for watery semen i had that problem as well but only for the first 2-3 weeks. Since then no problems except a little acne now and then.

But, if you're lucky enough to have a girl that guzzles your jizz on a regular basis you should ABSOLUTELY try drinking Pineapple juice - regularly. She will love you for it. (It makes your jizz taste better)

If you're worried about watery jizz, just save it up for a few days. You can look into volume supplements, but I doubt they work.

Do the tried and true method. Besides, it'd make the sex 50 times better. Kinda like saving your appetite all day for an awesome slice of NY pizza.
