hey i just joined this site because i was curious on the products out there and the side affects. IM 20 years old and baldness seems to run on my fathers side of the family. Now my hair now you wouldnt think it was thining if you seen me but if i spike it at the top or back area you can see it begining to thin. so I want to put a stop to this now so im thinking to start with just propecia and maybe a shampoo? but after reading so much about it here, it seems it causes sheding for almost everyone. Like i dont want to take it and my hair end up looking worse then it is now?? i dont want to go through a phase where it looks like its falling out, after taking something that is supposed to stop it? will this happen if i take it? All im after is to try to treat it before it gets worse.
any imput would be great guys!

The earlier you catch it the more hair you will have. I suggest you see your doctor to see if propecia is right for you. Chances are you will maintain the hair you have. I believe all you need is propecia, but any shampoo with copper peptides (tricomin, AM crew) won't hurt either.

This is wrong, I believe the majority of people do not have a finasteride induced shed. It is certainly true that of those who do shed, almost 100% will complain and seek out a forum such as this one.

I would think it is unlikely that you experience a significant cosmetic shed.

i guess it would be good to add nizoral in few times a week hey?
then alternate with a copper peptide shampoo....or some kind of thickening shampo.
