Hello! I started noticing my hair loss when I was 16 but I didn't really pay too much attention to it immediately. Though seeing it progress I ended up starting minoxidil use 10 months ago. I was still 16 at the time but only a couple months from 17. I didn't really see much change but I felt like I was doing something about it and felt a little better though about 4.5 months ago I took the plunge into finasteride. To this day I do not regret the decision, I've had 0 sides that have affected me to this date and it is the viable solution for hair loss available right now.
I've decided to include 4 pictures that sort of show my progress, though I don't know how much progress I've actually made. Please take a minute out of your busy days to just look at the pictures and comment how you feel it looks, if progress has been made, or not. Thank you, it's much appreciated.
NOTE: THESE BASE PICTURES ARE FROM ABOUT 2 MONTHS BEFORE STARTING TO USE FINASTERIDE, AND ABOUT 4 MONTHS INTO USE FROM MINOXIDIL. REASON BEING I DO NOT HAVE COMPARABLE PICTURES FROM BEFORE.
I'm growing a little discouraged with minoxidil, it's annoying to apply and it doesn't seem to be doing much for my hair. In a year I will be starting college, which will be troublesome having a roommate and applying minoxidil as I'd like to keep it a private matter. Though it is possible I could get a single dorm, which is what I'm hoping for.
In general my hair does look thicker in person, and feels much thicker but that could be equated to the drying effect from nizoral. What I hope for mostly is that my hairline will lower on the temples. I still see hairs fall out, though I don't have an estimate for any amount throughout the day. One thing I will note, I NEVER REALLY SAW MY HAIRS FALL OUT UNTIL I STARTED MY REGIMEN. But, I think it's very likely I just brushed it aside as a matter of no importance.
Thanks again!
