Should I Be Worried About Taking Finasteride ?

Alright so i resisted the urge to take medication for hairloss for years since about 2015. No one ever says anything about my baldness probably because people irl are just nice but im starting a course soon and just worried i'll go full bald halfway through or something lol. Just worried about the side effect from finasteride , i heard someone people have killed themselves because of it :( I already take a medication called efexor-xr for depression and anxiety. Anyway a doctor was really feeling embarrassed asking and he wrote me a script for finasteride. Strange thing is there was almost no questions or anything. He just flatout did what I asked and when I asked about side effects he said sexual dysfunction can happen but any of the side effects i get wouldn't come in to comparison to other meds i have taken in the past and said it doesn't interact with the current med i take.

Anyway going to pickup some finasteride tonight and try them for the first time. Do you guys reckon its probably too late though? It hasn't really changed since about 2016.

finasteride hasn't done anything for me. Neither positive or negativ. Don't have any sides, but hair is still thinning out fast.
Im on it 4 month btw.

Wait 6 months to a year to judge.

There is nothing to worry about taking finasteride if you start with a microdose first. Get a pill slicer and cut those c&nts into quarters. Take 0.25mg a day, even 0.25mg 5 times a week should be sufficient. Don't start with a megadose.

How long does it take for the sides to start? I have taken 5 now and feel no different? I do have erectile dysfunction a little but it was fucked way before I started taking this finasteride stuff

Great starting point:

most guys notice at least slight worsbettring downstairs,
i.e. less Erectyle and more Dysfunction...

I think watching your hair thin by the day will do you more mental harm than finasteride could. So don't worry, and start treatments while you still have hair to spare.

Do you guys reckon if I was going to get side effects I would have got them by now? I still feel almost exactly the same.

Hard to say, it is different for everybody. I got permanent side effects almost 4 years in. I got temporary side effects 3 weeks in, they went away after 2 weeks. You never know it is a gamble and there is no recognizable pattern so far.

Was there a sign prior to permanent sides? Also what do you use right now?

Was is actually from the finasteride or just a coincidence? I've heard stories of people getting sides from medications but only for them to find out it just a coincidence.

I have all the side effects commonly associated with 'temporary' finasteride sides, only continuously for 3 years now. Many of these are not commonly associated with normal ED such as a loss of sensation in the dick, no libido at all, extremely blunted orgasms and maybe most obviously extremely reduced semen volume.
Many testimonies and even papers on this so that Merck had to include permanent ED in their side effect description. How big the risk is is hard to say at the moment, probably a relatively small percentage but maybe bigger than expected and definetely bigger than in the initial documents. But I mean believe what you will, you seem to be leaning in a certain direction already and it's pretty futile to argue against people's emotions as I have learned.
