I started balding at 18, at about 19 I started minoxidil and at first it had great results especially when I grew my hair longer it almost covered my spot on the top of my hair, it didn’t help too much in frontal hairline but it made it better though, now I’m 21 and minoxidil seems to be not working any more, I’m on kinda short haircut my bald spot is obvious from top, " not so obvious from back " but I’m also 5’4 which make it so noticable:mrgreen: with receding frontal hair line

should I buzz my hair or buzz would make it even worse?
if not, what haircut should I go for?

ok maybe I should try it :D
Do your research though. There are many things to consider when taking any kind of drug, especially a hormone altering one. I'm certainly not against finasteride at all, it's just that you want to go into treatment knowing what to expect in terms of regrowth, shedding, and possible risks. Good luck!

Shaving it may make you look more bald - it did with me.

If I were you I'd shave the sides of my head shorter and grow the top a little more and then use styling pomade and toppik to create the illusion of thicker hair.

I buzzed my hair down a few times when I thought it got really thin. It's a little weird at first but It's so convenient. Personally I didn't worry as much when my hair was really short.

Just wondering, what did other people comment on your hair when you transitioned into the buzzcut look ?

The last time I buzzcut was around 4 years, I thought my hair was bad that time, but now I would literally do anything to get my hair back to what it was back then. So I buzzcut my hair on 3mm I think and what happened was everyone asking me "what the hell did you do?", or telling me "buzzcut doesn't suit your head/face", and a few girls told me "you were cute, why did you do that?".

So yeah... I'm better off as a diffuse thinner with slightly longer hair for now, although I would love to buzzcut.

At the time I buzzed it down because I was losing a lot of hair. I'm currently maintaining and regrowing! A lot of people actually liked the look, they were a bit shocked at first though. It does change your overall look. Body and face wise I'm a 8/10 I guess, so I don't look that bad with buzzed hair.

I would say I got 80% positive comments 20% negative.
