i'm 23, i started both minoxidil and proscar 6 months ago due to recession of my hairline. as far as i knew that was my only hairloss. however, as soon as i started the regime my hair at the crown thinned significantly. then my hair began to thin diffusely all over pretty soon into starting the regime.
I have had blood tests to check my thyroid and there was no problem there.
should i go on with both these treatments or should i get off now considering it hasnt gotten any better (much worse in fact) after this long and has doesnt have any sign of improvement.
my hairloss seems very uneven other than at the temples too. i even have a small amount of hairloss at the side of my head in the non-traditional male pattern baldness areas. is there a chance it could be Telogen Effluvium? if that is the case what is the affect of finasteride on people with Telogen Effluvium?
