Should i start finasteride?

22 year old male here, although my hair looks okay, my father had receded hairline at my age and he also went bald at the back of his head at age 30. Im unsure if i follow in his footsteps but i bought finasteride just incase should i take it now and keep this head of hair forever or should i wait until i see symptons?

I’ve heard a lot of bad stories, i’m just worried and paranoid about the future but i guess i should wait it out a few years.
