Should I start finasteride?

I've been taking .5mg EOD for about 1-2weeks now. In all honestly I feel no different which leads me to believe that it's not working. Isn't it funny that we worry about getting sides and when we don't get them we worry why we are not getting them and if the treatment is working. Anyhow I'm sticking with this dose and will re-asses at the 3 month mark and then next at the 6month mark, at which point ill decide whether to take the full 1mg dose. No harm in experimenting, but either way it's your opinion on what you do

My brother has been on generic propecia 1mg for 6 months now. He laughed when I asked him about all the side effects. He said I was paranoid and that he hadn't experienced a single one at all.

I think there are hundreds of thousands of people out there taking finasteride 1mg without any sides. They just keep going on living their life and never find this forum because they never google any of the side effects (because they aren't getting any).

Trust me at 0.5 mg EOD you will probably seen the same results as someone on 1mg. It just takes time. For what it's worth, finasteride didn't regrow much hair for my brother it just halted his loss. He said minix did help a lot. Good luck my friend!

If you start finasteride why even come back on here? I mean just take it like a vitamin and forget about hair loss because even if you lose some hair there is nothing more that can be done anyways. If your using it your doing all that can be done at this point. I would not even think about it or sides because if you get sides you will know for sure that you get them

But shedding usually starts on the 3rd month, or so i've heard. Im thinking of stopping nizoral as i believe it has been detrimental to my hair, however it does always make my hair seem thicker the days i use it. How are things going for you?
