If its working?

I went from having full head of hair at 21 to basically having 50% of that density wise.

Im scared of initial shed, because it will literally make me look bald.

Idk guys, im just lost with this sh*t. 50 days in finasteride, no results so far.

What you think?

Stabilise on finasteride first, get your shedding under control and then think about adding minoxidil. Don’t do too much too soon could make the situation worse

50 days is too soon to see any results.

I don't see the point in holding off on minoxidil, go all in. There's no time wasting when it comes to balding. A shed is pretty much inevitable though. It might be bad one, it might not be.

Just a friendly tip also. Wearing gel isn't doing your hair any favours with the wet look. It makes your balding way more prominent. With your hair, you could easily get some decent coverage on top with a brush and hairspray. Even throw in a bit of hair fibers if you wish. It would also help your shed look less noticeable should you decide to go with minoxidil.

that's true, in this pic my hair is extremely greasy, so you could consider that pic as wet one. if i have it dry, you cant see skin pretty much.

the only problem with this tho, that i had since teenagery, is that when my hair is dry it looks absolute sh*t

if you have intact hairline go number 1 or 2.

sure, you might find it weird and some friends will go wtf but then you can ride out the finasteride for ~6 months you'll know if you're getting results.

i only started seeing any signs of drugs working after 6+ weeks (don't have crown thinning, just hairline/forelock), and these signs were not really visible, only to myself. and 6 weeks after there's not been any real improvement but hair that's not been damaged before (in my opinion) got stronger all around the thinning/lost areas. + no more loss.

i need to pray finasteride works for me, because otherwise i dont know what ill do. i guess ill be gettin avodart, but with higher reward, comes greater risk.

i suggest if money is not an issue try minoxidil. that stuff might work for you.

it's kind of funny but when i started my treatment i went straight to finasteride, min, nizoral and dermarolling.
it's only been 4 months but i've got like 30%+ of more new hairs growing on my beard... i only had like a mustache and chinstrap. now i have all my right cheek and sideburns covered and getting close on the other side... btw im 31 and facial hairs been the same for 5-10 years before this.

i wish i had the same progress on my head though lol...

i haven't even applied minoxidil to my beard just hairline, i guess it went systemic cause i always dermarolled(0.5) before applying it.
