Should I Start Using Nizoral? Was Told Finastride Is Not Necessary At This Point

I am aware that my left temple is thinning out. Not sure if it’s something that is going to continue as it’s been like it a few months now.

I am a freak with hair as I know damn well my face would look awful without it as I can not even grow a beard hence why I have been obsessing so much.

I’m just after some treatment advice. Have been told numerously that it’s still too early for Finastride. I’m 22 years old.

Was also told I may be developing a “mature hairline” if they exist!

The third photo down was my left temple a year ago and the rest we’re taken today. Have attached the photo from a year ago for comparisons.

So yeah, would Nizoral be the next best thing for me to at least preserve my hair.

I don’t have any shedding either. Have the odd couple hairs appear through my fingers if I swipe my hair back but no severe shedding.

Nizoral is garbage, I'm probably going to stop using it. I don't think you are balding at all. Nice hair btw (miring hard)

Just keep a keep a close eye on your hair if you don’t want to start finasteride yet. I wouldn’t say 22 is too early to take it, but probably not necessary for you yet.

I can see some mild thinning maybe. Still got a great head of hair though.

Nizoral on its own won’t really help. Just don’t use more than 2-3 times a week if you do decide to try it.

If you don't have itchy scalp then don't do Nizoral. Your hair is good and if you don't see much shedding that's good sign. Just keep an eye and use good shampoos with no residue. But don't do Nizoral just yet

Thanks for advice guys, why is my crown shaped strangely? Is this thinning? It’s always been abit less dense but not 100% sure. I’ve attached some photos with flash and some with not.

Get on finasteride. Your hair is receding, thinning in the front n balding in the back. You need no further evidence.

Think of it this way, if your hair got any worse, it would really start to look like you're thinning n your crown would nearly have a bald spot.

Get on finasteride now, and you may get back those miniaturizing hairs in front and on the crown, and not have to do that comb to the side on the temples. In that case, you can also put this forum in your rear view mirror.
