Most people have tiny hairs along the hair line. What's your dad and your mom's dad look like?

Ultimately depends how much you value your hair and how much you hate the idea of going bald. If you are truly losing now and have lost part of your hairline and density then it’s safe to say by your mid 20’s you won’t be in a good place hair wise.

finasteride if you’re a good responder will rewind the clock a few years or like the majority just allow you to maintain for years to come . There are however very real side effect risks that come with the drug.

Definitely get blood work done before starting it if you do so you know where your hormonal base lines are in case you don’t f*** your hormones up.

Look like you are balding.

I would suggest start topical finasteride mix with minoxidil once a day + dermarolling + treatment shampoo. You could stay like this for years even get regrow with very low chance to get sides

I have a lot of really tiny hair that still exist from my somewhat original hairline. Could propecia regrow some of that? Also I’m 19. How long could I even expect full hair of hair until

If you mean regrow in the sense of produce better quality hair there, then no. finasteride will help you slow or stop the progression of male pattern baldness, meaning the hairs may not get any worse or will do so gradually, but it’s not going to reverse or improve what’s already occurred. Assuming your base line response is to a low dose, you could get a decade of efficacy out of finasteride.

Nobody can know. Some people have great result with finasteride some not. Personally I don’t have any regrow, it’s just slow down. It’s why you should combine with Minoxidil + Dermarolling and treatment shampoo against scalp inflammation which is really important (Keto shampoo are very famous in the hair loss battle but you have other solutions as it’s not efficient for everyone)

Do you have dandruff/itchy scalp?

The sooner you start the better result you can have and you have the possibility to upgrade your regiment later if needed. I think you should try topical finasteride, you would be almost sure to avoid any side for the same efficiency and in my opinion everyone should push for topical before oral.

A lot of people who have AA also have inflammation on their scalp (redness, itchy...) and/or dandruff.

please check the treatment article from this website: they clearly explain an anti inflammatory is essential as part of regimen

https://www.gourmetstylewellness.com/hair-loss-treatments/

I personally only start to have result from finasteride when I was able to control this inflammation on my scalp thanks shampoo.

I think this inflammation is really underestimate. Yes DHT play a big role in the hair loss but there is also before and after DHT a lot of changes in the scalp which deregulate and create hair loss.
