Been using minoxidil on and off for about 15 years. Have been reasonably happy with minoxidil as it least stopped my hairloss but never had much new growth. However, I added topical finasteride 0.025% 1 and a half months ago along with ......... shampoo and conditioner. New baby hair has started to grow on the crown(started balding on crown at 19) and my hair looks generally thicker. Friends have commented on this too. Trouble is i'm not sure if it's the finasteride or the shampoo thats working. My guess its the finasteride. Either way i'm well pleased with results so far and hope it continues. Bye the way i'm 42 years old.
