I have never heard of any side effects of green tea. Why do you think there would be?

well, because right now there is something VERY WRONG going on with my body. i think it might be from a combination of things, but i'm kind of freaking out. i'm on propecia, lexapro (anti-depressant), green tea extract and a multi vitamin. i recently went to see a psych for zoloft, and once i started that i noticed a little blood in my ejaculation. i told him this, and he said it couldn't be from the zoloft but swtiched me to lexapro. well, at first the blood disappeared, but the last couple times i have ejculated it was a little painful and there was a lot of blood involved. i don't have insurance, and have to wait until monday to go to the health center at my university.

I think out of all the things you named green tea is probably the least likely to be the culprit. I personally drink green tea every single day because it's a good antioxidant and supposedly flushes out your body. Whether it does this i'm not sure but I know it's effects are minimal and if anything serves as just an enjoyable drink.

I would guess it's the anti-depressants, or maybe the combination of finasteride/anti-depressants but then again I know very little on what could cause that. All i know is, its not the green tea.

Ams99 thats disgusting... your post is going to scare the sh*t out of some newbies, I wouldn't think its propecia, green tea, or the multi vitamin, but if I were you I would completely stop my treatment I'd rather go bald than nut out blood. I aint trying to scare you either Ams99 but you should go get checked up it might not even be your treatments.

Definetly go get tested. Im guessing its the anti depressant with the finasteride combo but I could be wrong.

Maybe you have testicular cancer.

It could be many other things than cancer. One way you can know you've got a tumour in your balls is by checking them with your fingertips. Is there any lump or small area of them that has a different texture or hardness?

In any case go and see a urologist. Blood in sperm although not necessarily dramatic demands a medical checking as soon as possible.

Just act and don't worry.

How can you possibly come to this conclusion?

I have never understood why people equate so many problems to finasteride. It is a normally very well tolerated drug with relatively few side-affects. People just link every possible thing wrong with their body when they start taking Propecia. I think for a lot of guys it is their very first Prescribed drug and can't handle it mentally.
