I Doubt it very much,

You say "I feel very bad". In what way did you feel very bad?

Sick? headache? Dizzy?

!!

hi.. i´m 99% sure that it was revivogen!
i feelt very depressed.. you know i stopped taking finasteride cause i got hard depressions.. i got it cause of the lower dht level!! not by finasteride caused! it was the dht level...

so i took revivogen... an after 4 weeks i felt quite the same as with finasteride

i have a very sensitive energetic system.. i have lots of food allergies and so..

i got deppresions of just with 0, 1 mg a day.. so if revivogen changed my dht level just a little.. it can be a reason to feel very bad very shure!!

i quite shure it was from revivogen.. 6 weeks later a feel very good again.. i usualley takes 6- 8 weeks until you dht level gets normal again.. so that sounds pretty logical to mee!

i also take spironolactone .. no sides!

Saw Palmetto has some sides that can be described as finasteride-like. "Maybe" it was the saw.

I was on rev for over 1 year - and the only side I expereinced was flaking / scalp peeling.

Hairtomorrow -
Did you have a positive result using revivogen? like hair growth or even maintain?

Bleedingorange -
I honestly think your problem is physiological. you say you "take spironolactone"? do you mean apply it topically?

I believe Revivogen inhibits the DHT locally on the scalp it should not alter the DHT in your blood. I could be wrong tho.

I was on Rev + spironolactone 2% for over a year and my hair actually was getting worse at the 12/13 month mark - which is why I bit the bullet and eased back into finasteride (now finasteride and dutasteride).

I was on Revivogen for a good year or so,certainly no systematic side effects but it did leave orange/brown stains on my scalp they've faded but they're still there and that was 5 years ago!
No results either just continued recession, they may have changed their formula since then I dont know re:staining but imo nasty s*** & a waste of time & money

Nice one, can't wait for a tanned head all year round!

I thought this revivogen was meant to be ok. I've just come off the finasteride and I thought it was my best bet? been on it 1 month and all seems ok to be honest, no shed no sudden loss or gain. all the same and i've packed in the rogain foam. my hair is just the same. good i suppose. i imagine it will all fall out soon.

I just bought Revivo....does it stain everyone's scalp? Rambo, what's your routine when applying Revivo and then washing it off?

Topicals absolutely can cause sides, though usually less so than an oral dose. But yeah, stuff absorbs through the skin into the bloodstream. Revivogen has saw palmetto, so if you are really sensitive to anti-androgens, you could theoretically feel bad from it.

I apply it at night , It does stain the scalp but i think this is a good thing if you have darker hair because the contrast makes your hair look thicker..I leave it on all night then shower in the morning and wash my hair with Tgel shampoo followed by revita , Everyday.

Why not use the Revivo shampoo/conditioner? Just asking b/c I bought that too. Do the stains go away after you stop using Revivo?

Rambo, do you have the new version of Revivo or the old one? I think I bought the old version of Revivo because the ingredients of the Revivo that I bought on Amazon don't match the ingredients they have on Revivo site.

Active Ingredients to the Revivo I bought: SD Alcohol-40, Alpha Linolenic Acid, Gamma Linolenic Acid, Linoleic Acid, Oleic Acid, Palmitic Acid, Myristic Acid, Saw Palmetto Extract, Azelaic Acid, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6), Zinc Sulfate, Niacin (Vitamin B3), Tocophe

Active ingredients to the Revivo @ Revivo site: Gamma Linolenic acid (GLA), Alpha Linolenic acid (ALA), Linoleic Acid, Oleic Acid, Azaleic acid, Vitamin B6, Zinc, Saw Palmetto Extract, Beta-Sitosterol and Procyanidin Oligomers.

Whos gonna beleive you? The first post you make is a negative one about revivogen. Your a propecia loving troll just trying to bad mouth revivogen ..Revivogen is a great product , It has stopped my hairloss and gave some ( not alot ) of regrowth, But all i expected it to do was stop hairloss. So im very pleased , Especially because it has given me not one side effect , which is not the case with propecia.

I'm sorry if my opinion & experience on revivogen upset you Rambo but not eveyone wants marks left on their scalp like yourself,so when you do eventually lose your hair you're going to look like MIKHAIL GORBACHOV
Propecia troll !!! FFS,
I've used a few products for a decent amount of time from roughly 6 years ago so I'm fairly entitled to express an opinion,I tried to go down a more natural route for hairloss but they simply did bugger all 4 me!

Revivogen 1 year :didn't work,stained scalp
Tricomin 1 year: didn't work
Fincar 2 1/2 years: did work,complete maintenance
Rogaine: early days but it's the first time i've noticed regrowth (albeit vellus hair) from any product I've used

Never experienced any sides from anything

When i shampoo my hair in the morning the stains are gone.

How's it supposed to make your hair look thicker if the stains disappear when you shampoo, unless you were referring to only during the time of application in which no one is supposed to be witnessing the state of applied revivo to your hair. I have dark hair so I guess I wouldn't mind it staining my scalp if it makes my hair look thicker.....just as long as the stains aren't permanent.

I see a tint of brown on a morning but as soon as I come out the shower my head has no trace of revivogen at all.

I have a shaved head and it goes on fine, dries fast enough as well. You should just try it.
