I agree with with Gemini's point and I think any woman is going to find a confident, positive bald guy more attractive and sexy than say, an insecure NW3 on treatments, who has no confidence because he's too busy worrying what people think of his hair everyday.

I'm not denying that their group does come across as a bit strange and that only a select number of men pull off the bald look well. However I admire the fact that they refuse to lazily feel sorry for themselves or slip into a hopeless state of victimhood for the rest of their lives, unlike most of the people on this forum.

Again as mentioned above, we're all inevitably headed their way sooner or later with or without finasteride/dutasteride, so like them we have serious decisions to make regarding attitude and outlook on life... and if you're a die-hard pessimist , you're going to struggle with everything in life, not just male pattern baldness.

Don't worry if these fools are picking on you Finfighter, they are just upset that what you have said is 100% true; namely on 80+% of guys, male pattern baldness is a very ugly look.

I'm not saying they all look sexy. I don't like the way baldness looks either or I wouldn't be treating my hair loss. Does that mean all bald people look like convicts and deserve our indignation for accepting their baldness? Is it better to mope around like a bald loser for the rest of your life?

I wouldn't worry too much about people like him. He sees things only in black and white. He's also admitted to letting it destroy his life.

A lot people can't grasp that you may not like the card that has been dealt to you. Do I care? Of course you care but there is not much we can do except take our meds and hope for the best.

As for a poll from women; if you ask superficial gold diggers in manhattan I´m sure bald is a no-go. If you´re more of the kind who goes for the down to earth girls, odds are better.. Women can not be polled as one group. Some of us guys are almost viciously critical towards women´s appearance, some are chubby chasers, some prefer the homely type, and some prefer other qualities over perfect looks...

these men all grow the same facial hair. this is half the problem. if they clean shaved their face the same as their hair, they would look younger and less creepy.
