indeed. but they must do it clever enough. At a specific point in the career (e.g. before moving in the industrial sector).
If regular researchers play the trick, then they are burned. Research, in many disciplines (and med I guess is one of them) is still based on the real merits. Superstar researchers that try to sell fake results, even though for the good cause of attracting funds, might have a short life in there.
