So, About My Hair... How Bad Is It?

So, on a scale from 1 to 10 how bad is it, 1 being, -its still great- and 10 being -dude you are screwed to the point where there is no help!-

Also, I did combed my hair so it maybe just that, but that parting sometimes appears to be huge, and sometimes it appears totally normal.

Some diffuse thinning, your long hair has probably covered it for a while. It’s not too bad, and if you’re content with it, then good.

Finasteride can maintain baseline for years for many people.

I don't want to give you false hope or mislead you, you are experiencing very mild recession, but the cool thing is if you jump on finasteride and rogaine (as well as a few other optional products) your hair should be set for a very long time.

I am actually in a very similar boat as you, I have about the same hairline and my long hair helps disguise it a little bit. You actually probably have it better than I do because your hair covers both of your temples, while mine only covers one side.

I recommend the website Hims as an easy way to get the care you need. It's a convenient package that sends you all of the essentials for much less than if you were buying each product on their own. You can even get a finasteride prescription from the site, but keep in mind this varies from state to state. In my state, Maryland, I didn't have that option, but I still got a prescription from my local dermatologist
