Yeah but i can't tell. Some people look like they are balding even if they arent. Fine hair + cowlick + greasy hair and you may as well look like a baldy. Only way to be 100% certain is to shave it down to 1 or 2 mm and evaluate.

Thanks for the reply. Last pic was definitely greasy. I haven't seen much change, if any, over the past 6 months so I am hoping there is nothing to be worried about. The double cowlick/swirl does create gaps when I comb my hair but the hair around it is perfectly fine. When I comb it all straight there is just a horseshoe shaped spot that looks like a cowlick. See pics.

Just got my hair cut pretty short and I think this helps show that it is the double cowlick. What do you think?

I am sorry to say that according to my theory you are a person more willing to develop alopecia in this area, two cowlicks and fine hair are two...

Yours looks like you have some solid thinning on the crown, id say this is male pattern baldness @jamie2509

@ op, yours is very questionable and I recommend a professionals opinion.

23 yr. old here. I would like to ask for your inputs regarding my crown. So today I have tried a new haircut to shave my head. And I noticed this in my scalp. This really bothers me. Is this thinning or cowlick? Both of my father and mother have head full of hair. My father is already in his late 50’s but still have a head full of hair. I’m very worried about my hair. Try to get a similar image of the whorl of your father to compare. Surely with it will be the same result, the flash is very harsh
