Spectral DNC as good as it says it is?

I have been on this for a week and so far so good providing you keep cleaning the nozzle.

The leaflet inside makes great claims which if half of them come true I will be well pleased.

What experience do you have on it halting loss and providing new growth. I am using its twice a day and taking finasteride also so hope that I have a good regieme that will work in the long run...can't do much more now other than wait and pray....Hair for CHristmas

none yet but it does look pretty hi tech. ive been wanting to try something new and was thinking of ordering some retin-a to give the minoxidil a boost but ive ordered this today instead. keep us posted if you have any good results

I've noticed some fuzzy white hairs coming in myself. The product documentation states to give it atleast 3 months time to notice any real results so I'm hoping for the best.

The response to treatment is different for every individual. However, you can expect to completely inhibit hair loss within just 2 -3 weeks of use and start seeing new hairs after approximately 2 months of use. You will at first see "fuzz" hairs that are light in color, these hairs will eventually become normal hair. Full hairs may be seen to grow as early as 4 months into treatment, although the full effect is usually achieved between 8 and 12 months. After that point, as long as Spectral DNC is used properly the hair can usually be maintained indefinitely.

im liking it too. it has a not unpleasant slight burning sensation when you apply it especially when it runs down and goes in your eye! i thought i was
going blind for a brief horrible moment.

i use an eyedropper and my fingers to get a good coating on my scalp. Their pump spray sucks on it.

Yeah im using this as my minoxidil substitute in the big 3 because in addition to minoxidil it has all that other stuff that has good claims to work also. Can't really go wrong with it and $35 isn't breaking the bank for everything you get in it. I'm to lazy to mix my own concoction.

Been on it a month now and no results yet that I can see..still too early although I would like to see it stop the loss if nothing else. How are others doing with it?

I wash out the spray tube every time and that keeps it working and is easy to apply ..leaves hair a bit dry (try to keep it mainly on the scalp) and scalp slightly stickly but not a problem

Just ordered some Retino A Cream and some genuine Propecia (though I would keep a saftely net as I am a tiny bit scheptical that generics are as good..i'll take a genuine one every 3rd or 4th day).

The Retino A cream sounds good for bald areas for absorption of the Spectral. I had hair only a couple of months ago where I now have temporal recession so hope I can coax those follicles back into action..would be a dream.

I've just bought the Spectral.DNC and will be trying it out when I get an eye dropper as well. It looks really good in terms of ingredients. The one thing I was curious about though. It says one of it's ingredients is a herbal mix. Does anyone know what's in the herbal mix?

I've been using the product for just about under a month with the new nozel style and I have had no problem with it clogging as ppl have mentioned with the old bottles.

I've been to the DS Labs site, however nowhere does it say what exactly is in the herhal complex. I'm more curious than anything. It's not going to affect whether I use it or not, because the products ingredients seem to be one of the best on the market. IMHO

I've been using Spectral.dnc for 1 month now and have noticed a ton of darker colored fuzz hairs all through my hairline and temples. Not just a few, but seriously, a ton of them. I've been using about 0.5-0.75ml on the front, temples and hairline only. At the dose I'm using it looks like it's gonna last about 6-8 weeks or so. I suppose that's not too bad. Probably 2x as expensive as the foam, but if these fuzz hairs grow to terminal hairs, it would be well worth it. I plan on continuing to use it for at least 6-12 months to give it a good chance of success. So far I have noticed no shedding and no further hair loss.

Good to hear decent reports about Spectral DNC, just started it at the beginning of Feburary. DS Labs seem very professional in the way their website is designed the Q&A they have for each product along with an anbundance of info for each one and the fact that they seem to answer people's emails fairly well. I just came of Revivogen which I used for 6 months with no effect really, it maybe stopped the hairloss but the thickening of hair, or any regrowth whatsoever was nowhere to be seen. The fact that I need to regrow/thicken more than I need to preserve made my decision easy when it came to switching products. I'll keep updates on my progress, I really need to take pics so I can compare them with one's 2 or 3 months down the line.

Thanks for the reply. So it looks like it's reasonable to expect almost 2 months of supply, with the cost being around $35. Rogaine foam retails about $49 for a 3 month supply.

I'm thinking about minoxidil, and am contemplating which route to go. Speaking in terms of convenience, the foam seems to be top notch. However, from what I've read, the Spectral DNC dries up pretty well and is also easy to use.

so how many sprays do you assume your using, and on both temples?

id like to know because officially the pamphlet says to get results you have to use, ten and in one place it says 14 sprays, per temple is it? or all together do you know?

and i want to know aprox your ammount of sprays are total to compare to what im using because im using only about two sprays im NW1 on my right temple, 2 times a day.

i stoped on the other temple because its not that bad, and this stuff is being used up fast.

So do you think i should use more, maybe 5 sprays, 2x a day?

my temples cant even soak up that much in one shot, i would need to go back and do it again.

do you just cover the area with the solution and thats it?

and YEa, Fuzz hairs do turn real, my fuzz hairs are growing in fast and new ones are filling in temple

So can Spectral DNC be used instead of minoxidil since it contains minoxidil in it? Would you guys say it is better than the Rogaine foam?

And if you spray it onto your head, doesn't it have difficulty actually getting beneath the hairs and onto the scalp? I have longish hair and would worry that some of it wouldn't penetrate.

yeah you can use it instead of rogaine.

The only difficulty you would have is if you already have a ton of hair... you have to part it then spray. Tons of advice how to better get it on your scalp.

Etc...

I like the foam for the day and DNC before bed as it does make your hair all messed up.
