Heh Dice,

Did you get the percentages of the vehicles used in CEM's 5% spironolactone?

Because spironolactone is more soluble in PPG than ethanol. Maybe they achieve this stable 5% spironolactone solution by using more PPG. Maybe a
50% PPG
40% Ethanol
10% Distilled water
I asked for the percentages, but the guy I asked said the bottle didn't say :( You have a point, spironolactone is more soluble in ppg vs. ethanol. I wonder what the percentage is for spiros solubility in ppg :? I know that it is 1.25% in ethanol. You could be right blaze, hell the percentage might even be higher, like 70 ppg, 20 ethanol, 10 distilled water. I wonder what they would say if someone emailed them? :?

I emailed them and we'll see what they say. I do remember someone telling me that usually the first ingredient on the list on the label, is usually the ingredient that is most abundant, so in this case there probably is more ppg than ethanol. :)

If that be the case then you wont be able to wash this solution of your scalp in 1 hour, dice. More alcohol, the quicker the absorbtion. More PPG you will have to let it sit for a while.

Hi! Mind if I join your merry brigade? :pint:

I think I am going to order a 6 month supply of this in the next few weeks or so and will let people have my comments and observations on the product in due course. I was never convinced with Lee's 5% cream. Hopefully CEL spironolactone will be the *real deal*.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but the site dice posted intrigues me.

8 oz of 5% spironolactone for $59 is a good price! However, it says in the disclaimer that you are assumed to be a "legal researcher" and if you're not it's fraud buying stuff there.

How do you guys get around that when ordering?
