Does anyone know/speculate if it is important to store the spironolactone cream in the fridge? I share a fridge with 3 roommates and if they see the spironolactone they will be like wtf? Would it potentially keep it more stable?

spironolactone 5% should be stored the same way as 5% spironolactone.

Oh, I think it's a very good idea to keep it in the fridge. I always did that with mine.

Bryan,

what is the adverse effect if you dont ? I usually keep mine on my computer desk in the bedroom out of "public" view. does it make spironolactone less effective or does it evaporate in any manner ?

I can't really describe what may be adverse effects from not refrigerating spironolactone; it's just that the stuff is notorious for starting to smell really bad, espcially when used with minoxidil. I figure, why take any chance at all by NOT keeping it refrigerated?
