Bryan,

Do you think that perhaps a five percent liquid could be effective, or is liquid spironolactone and utter waste of time not worthy of further experimentation?

Don't really know for sure, Michael, but the spironolactone solution used in the Italian study seemed to be effective. I believe it was 3%.

From the study

"Well, there you have it! The cream version seemed
to perform better. In fact, the alcoholic version may
not have performed AT ALL! :-( What's interesting
is that they used a spironolactone concentration in both vehicles
of only 1%; and what's very strange is the fact that the
cream vehicle made the hirsutism WORSE. That's food
for thought."

Unless, I'm understanding it completely wrong isn't the above statement contradictory? First you said that cream version seemed to perform better and in the end cream vehicle made ithe hirsutism worse? so basically cream is worse then liquid?

I said the cream VEHICLE (without the spironolactone) made it worse. But the cream vehicle WITH the spironolactone was more effective than the spironolactone solution.

Seems like there's a lot of talk about spironolactone and whether or not it actually works. I just started it a couple days ago. I'll post in a few months on it. I don't have a digital camera for pics though, so I'll just tell you guys if I notice difference. Everyone else: keep updating.
