Spots ?

I have just had my hair cut short and i have red spots on my scalp i have one which is on its own and when touched it hurts.I also have a cluster of 4 or 5 in my thinnest area and a few others dotted about the scalp and some on the sides which dont seem to hurt does anybody have any idea what these are.

Are they red? I am willing to be you use Nizoral and you are having a bad reaction to it.

Either cut back to once or week or dump the nizoral. Nizoral is not worth such irritation.

EDIT: Duh you said they were red, dump the nizoral.

Mickey, that individual red spot is probably just a zit or something totally unrelated to hairloss.

Thanks for the replys i have been rotating the shampoo's and have been using nizoral.so i will ease up on the nizoral and see how it goes they are similar looking to acne and the big one resembles a boil.I might start cuting back on the amount of times i wash my hair in the short term and see if that helps.

had a friend that had the same thing when he shaved his head.. the red dots could just be ingrown hairs

Could be as they seem to be appearing more on my thinning area's

I have had the same red spots and have since cut back on nizoral,so far so good as they have gone...good luck

I have the same problem thought nizoral was helping but i think its that, dump the nizoral im trying that and T-Gel if you use it.
