Dude your density is so thick, it looks like you have dermmatch covering your entire hairline area lol. Never seen density that thick and my density was pretty nuts before hair loss.

that's pretty interesting stuff. so it had a proven success in not just maintenance, but also regrowth and increase in quality / thickness of hair?

i might have to look into it as an alternative to my volumizing shampoo. i struggle to find anything that makes the diffused rat's nest on top of my head presentable.

I don't understand why are you being so mean. I'm just asking a question to a community that suffers the same condition that i suffer, And I'm just telling what's working for me. As far as I can notice, I started improving my hair volume some weeks after I started using that shampoo.

Didn't know what darmmatch is (had to google it). I'm not experiencing hair density problems at all. Just a receded hairline.

Sorry, I misunderstood you :(. I read that caffeine shampoo promotes hair regrowth and that gently reduces DHT in scalp. But I don't really know if its true. I also read it from here:
https://www.hairforkeeps.com/male-hair-loss-treatment-stimulate-hair-growth/ . Its a website where a guy tells his experience and what products is he using.

Nope, My uncle that is bald only in his crown is 49 years old.

Why are you here if you've got the cure to hair loss already ? Caffeine.

I never said caffeine shampoo is a cure. I said it helps me keep my hair thick. You guys are very susceptible, I just asked a question and told what I'm doing to stop my hairloss.
Also, if you read my original post you can see I also said I'm using ketoconazole shampoo and propecia.

Nah, it makes your hair look think, not actually thicker. There's a difference. I'm using a similar conditioner

Wait, finasteride causes gyno!? Yep no chance I'm using that!

I never heard about that side effect. But to be honest, all meds have "side effects" that never happen. for example, ibuprofen:

  • liver problems - nausea, upper stomach pain, itching, tired feeling, flu-like symptoms, loss of appetite, dark urine, clay-colored stools, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes);

  • kidney problems - little or no urinating, painful or difficult urination, swelling in your feet or ankles, feeling tired or short of breath
I never experienced any of those side effects while taking ibuprofen. Not even close. I think people are scared of finasteride because the side effects are related to sex/hormones, but you can stop it if you experience any of them.

I don't understand the difference between my hair looking thick vs being actually thicker...

I have to return to my derm next month, and she will control and compare my situation at the beginning of the treatment and now. Hope she tells me i didnt loose any hairs..
