Non aggressive loss is a curse, a slow burn that you don’t know will stop or not. I think I might be a good candidate for finasteride since finasteride tends to work best on mild to moderate hair loss? I’m putting off finasteride because I want to believe I just have Telogen Effluvium from Covid back in 2020. Feels bad man.
Yo you said you had a T.E round back in the day from Accutane. Did you recover your original density or else?

Look at this guys temporal hairline. Perfect straight lines. This is a sign that he will very likely never ever be bald. But I do agree with @I wont lose this that it could be some degree of very slow and early recession. This is NOT aggressive at all though, @infamousrodi. The good thing is your hair has looked the same for a long time.
This is a misconception. My hairline I lower at 34 and I have lost A LOT of density.

Just because your hairline is lower doesn’t mean sh*t. Everyone has different head shapes. I think what one should look for is the rounding of corners, losss of temporal triangles or formation of round corners.

No. I used it for a beard once for three months and my head hair thickened.
Calm down baby girl. I’m posting to try and help you. I should correct myself. My hairline is more straight. I actually have a bigger forehead.

I approve. Carry on.
Even if I don’t have hair loss yet it runs in my family. So this should warrant a reason at least to microdose? Do you think microdosing actually reduces chance of sides or is it all just psycosomatic.

From my 13 years of experience on finasteride, microdosing absolutely makes a difference in sides. I don't care what the serum DHT inhibition curve says. I had very minor sides on 1mg ED for 12 years, and I switched to 0.5mg ED and felt noticeably better after 2-3 weeks. Unfortunately, I started shedding after 3 months of making the switch. I then went up to 0.67mg ED and the shedding stopped but had a tiny increase in sides. No doubt that sides are dose dependent, at least for me.

I'm now trying to make the transition to topical finasteride 0.025% as a homemade solution with 5% topical min. I'm a week into it and I'm starting to feel better because I dropped my oral finasteride dosage from 1mg EOD to 0.5mg EOD so I can ease into topical until I know it works for me. I feel more aggressive and have morning wood every day for the last 3-4 days, and I'm in my mid-40s. I never really had ED issues, just slight brain fog and came and went and less morning wood.

Interesting. I was on it for 3 months and only experienced increased body fat localized in the chest area so I freaked out and quit. I’m trying again with a microdose. Was your hair loss aggressive ? I’ve imagined you e maintained your hair if you’ve been on for 13 years. That’s good I feel like ED is the worse side to get alongside depression. I would do topical but I’m lazy and like the notion of simlply taking a pill daily.

Something that I forgot to ask you, have you found your hair to be greasier now compared to when you weren't facing any hair loss problems?

By the way I pretty much prefer this visual of Carlos rather than his newest one. I ended up enjoying both games though. Re 3 used to scary the sh*t out of me when I was 11 so I only beat it when I was 17. Good old days gaming with my long hair

I did find the oily when I first noticed hair loss problems, I lost a lof hair within a month and my hair had tingly sensations and stinging and lots of dandruff and oiliness. It’s kind of resolved now which is weird. I noticed my hair was oilier when I could see my scalp throug heavy down lighting last year. I heavily believe I had Telogen Effluvium because my scalp is now harder to see with down lighting. Im more worried about recession now. But I think Telogen Effluvium and oily scalp go hand in hand… I think also regenepure dr helped a lot as well. I could’ve had a bad case of seb derm

The new Carlos in re3 make was cool I loved his hair in the new game. But I’m a sucker for nostalgia and the cgi pre rendered graphics of back in the day.

I don't have aggressive hairloss and I've maintained my hair for sure and had regrowth because of topical min.
