Starting finasteride..should I stop if?.......

I've read numerous comments saying "you should of stopped finasteride the moment you noticed side effects". Others say "ride them out and they will disappear". Should I stop if my nut aches? If my nipple area tingles? If my belly fat increases? Brain fog? Decreased motivation? I want to stick with it, but don't want to F*** myself up long term. So what sides are normal sides that won't hurt me long term...and what ones are serious enough to stop the medication. I realize this may be my personal choice of what I can deal with, but would like to hear your input.

It was reported side effects went away in men who stopped taking finasteride because of them. In addition, these side effects decreased to 0.3% of men or less by the fifth year of treatment.

You most likely won't experience any side effects.

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I have a question of my own. For the guys who experienced loss of libido as a side, is there anything you did about that? Did you take anything else so level things out? Also, would a multi-vitamin help to increase libido?

Horny goat weed brother!

I tried both l-arginine and horny goat weed. Horny goat weed did nothing, but I think l-arginine helped a little. I quit about 5 months ago and my libido is still very low. The other sexual sides I had (sensitivity, random erections) have shown some improvement after quitting, though.

I've heard pretty good things about horny goat weed. Any sides from that stuff? So you think if I take that along with finasteride, it'll help out my libido? That's really the only side I have.
