well i have been on avodart for exactly 5 months an things are about 20 % worse than when i started especially at the front.
I have recently ordered oral spironolactone from inhouse and will be taking 100mg a day as well as taking avodart at a reduced rate of EOD ,i am going to give this regimen 3 months and if i am still going backwards will opt for depo provera which i will inject into the buttocks,if that does not work then the grim reeper is calling.

There's more to life than hair, mate. You are always so negative about your perceived results, but I reckon if you tracked your progress with photos, it would probably prove that you are at least maintaining, which is a good news story!

Oral spironolactone is a bad idea. You'll definitely grow man boobs. And they are worse than being bald. Why don't you haul *** down the gym, get some new clothes, invest in a decent skincare regime and work on your social skills? You could easily 'compensate' for a lack of hair. Besides, you might have the kind of head shape which suits a shaved look. You never know

if you're serious, you need a heavy dose of therapy (think EOD). pondle's right too. and think about all the people in the world who have problems a trillion times worse than hair loss. nelson mandela's fight against apartheid led him to be imprisoned for 27 years in south africa. he saw his wife only 3 times during that span. yet he didn't give up and kill himself. he struggled on, was eventually freed, and then won the nobel peace prize in 1993, shortly before becoming the 11th president of south africa.

you don't have to achieve glories on the scale of armstrong or mandela to be a hero. you just have to struggle through your own problems with grace and dignity. the fact that you're losing your hair seems laughably trivial compared to the difficulties faced by armstrong, mandela, and millions (if not billions) of other people across the globe. because your hair loss is trivial, and if you're willing to off yourself over it, it's definitely your brain that needs the treatment.

antonio how do you ever expect to see results if you never stay the course on any regimen?

im 21 months into the big three and apart form the maintenance since then ive only really started to see regrowth in the last few months........about a month after starting rogaine foam i had a huuuuge shed and went below baseline and the shed carried on for some time,now here i am 7 months int othe foam and im seeing good results and expecting more



just stick to the big three for at least 15 months,preferably 2 years then you can think of other regimens,but man you got this all way out of perspective

in my opinion if propecia or avodart are not working,chemical castration can give you that period of say 12 months to 18 months so you can way up your options and consider things and how to proceed with the problem.
In this time you will have the comfort that your hair will not get any worse.

Yeah I know I'm whining, but it isn't hairloss itself that bugs me THIS much. It's partly this darned scalp itch that I can't get rid of. I hate it and that's the biggest reason why I can't forget my hairloss even for a while. And I tend to continue my original whining thread and not open a new one every time I want to vent 8) . And yes, I would love it if my hair wouldn't get any worse (I'd still have to buzz it though), but I wouldn't be willing to sacrifice my sexual ability for that.

wow. some of you guys are about as stupid as you are mentally unsound. for that there may be no cure. and yes, again - hairloss is trivial in the grand scheme of things. imagine if einstein took his own life midway through his career because of his hairloss. all the history books would talk about what a dumbass/psycho he was. or if ben franklin did the same, history would treat it accordingly. instead they both were successful pimps because they didn't cry and moan like babies about their own vanity 24/7. honestly, some of you guys need to grow up and act like men. no wonder you wanna be castrated, you act like you already are.
