Steam room and sauna good or bad for male pattern baldness?

I've been going to the gym (primarily for fitness and health not to body build) for the last 16 years. Part of my weekly routine is to hit up the steam and sauna room for about 10-15 minutes twice a week. Steam/sauna room is part of my exercise ritual to detox my body and relieve any stress. But now that I'm a recent victim of MBP, I'm concern on whether it does more damages or promotes healthier hair and some growth?

I don't think it is bad, I cant thing of anything that may me bad in hitting the sauna.
I am no pro but as you said it may be good for detox, including detoxing scalp from dht, through sweat, but again I am no expert.

Dps, right now I spend a bit more time in the steam room (5+ mins) than the sauna (5 mins max) since the sauna room is a lot hotter and I'm afraid the extreme dry heat might cause more hair to fall out. Since I shower at the gym, I'm not able to get a hair count on the shower drain to gauge on whether it's safe or bad.

Hot temperatures increase circulation to the scalp, so for that reason saunas and steam rooms are good for hair. They also help the body get rid of toxins, so that's good too.

Thanks for the feedbacks Jacob and AmazingRandy. I'm going to continue my weekly routine, just worried about more hair loss!

Don't think it's good or bad doubt it makes a difference, they are popular in Finland and the guys there aren't exactly know for thick hair. I'd just make sure to shower immediately after and wash sweat off you scalp.

Yeah I usually follow off with a warm then cold shower. Read somewhere that hot water causes hair to fall out easier so I try to stick with cold water shower instead.
