I know I said I was going to discontinue using this site so I apologise for posting again but what the f*** is going on with my hair? One day It looks amazingly thick then the next it looks like I'm thinning and approaching Norwood 7. Both photo's were taken this month with wet hair and flash on camera. i'm guessing that the first photo definitively answers the fact that I am starting to thin.

My hairline is okay, Norwood 1.5, 2 at most although I do have days where I feel like it's progressing further than a mature hairline. Does my hairloss look aggressive? I'm kind of lost and clueless at the minute, still in the denial phase trying to accept that I'm likely going to be fully bald one day. Do you recommend I start treatments soon?

Aggressive hairloss definately Norwood 7 in 2 years get on duta + fina asap bro

To my untrained non medical eye, it does resemble the classic diffusion pattern that is in the middle
of some kind of major "shed" if you will

Those are milestones for all of us (in the old days that we had a ticking clock)

To you, whether to jump meds.

I don't know if it's of any relevance but this was my hair as a child. I noticed my hair looked suspicious on that too, I was around 5/6 years old when this photo was taken yet I still have that patch and pattern of thinner hair in the centre?

Are you noticing a lot of hairs falling out during the day? At bed etc?

I wouldn't say a lot, I obviously lose a couple of hairs every now and then but nothing extreme.. probably around 70-100 hairs a day which according to my doctor and on here, is considered normal. Even when I rake my hand through my hair there'd only be a single strand that would come out, sometimes even nothing.

I feel you don't treat it now you'll be NW7 in like a year or two.

I know you're just taking the piss pal but please be serious. I'm looking up to you guys on here for advice as you've all been in a situation where you've expierenced thinning hair before and because of this, know exactly what to look for. I don't mean to be the young, irritating full head that makes the same post all the time but I am desperate fo some advice and/or experienced outlook on my hair.

It looks normal to me. If you want to stop worrying about it, get on meds, I plan on doing the same because if your stress over it is extreme, it can make hair quality worse. Also ignore the trolls, because it honestly feels like you’ll go from no/minimal hair loss to a nw7 sometimes because of how it looks wet.

Nothing to do with norwood 7, but I honestly do think that there is potentially some diffusion in the NW5 area.

If do a buzzcut and then look at it you'll know.
