I miss smoking.. I kinda stopped doing it when I noticed my health was taking a hit (chances are smoking didn't have THAT much to do with it, but still).

Man - not really in keeping with this thread I know but - I need a cigarette!

They're fine in moderation, as are most things :)

I agree with kthxbi. I'm sympathetic to these folks as well, but if there was known behaviour that stopped hair loss, we would all likely STOP that behaviour. The cancer-causing properties of cigarettes have been known for decades.

Every case of cancer is tragic, but if I'm going to be 100% honest...it's more tragic when the cancer is random and unavoidable.

Ehh that's just worst case scenario, although I agree that smoking tobacco is dangerous to your health. Its the same with alcohol too. Alcohol is faaar more worst for you than most of the drugs that are out there also. It's funny that the most dangerous and damaging(alcohol and tobacco) are legal while the far safer, nearly harmless ones like cannabis and psilocybe mushrooms remain criminalized and illegal.

I can't dissagree more with you on this. Some things are simply not ok at all, and cigarettes are one of them. I don't think that crack is ok in moderation either.

I agree, Hoppi that is the most retarded thing I've heard you say.

Well a lot of the members of this forum use tobacco products. And 25% of oral cancer is found in people who don't use tobacco products anyway, so not all of ''these people did this to themselves'' (sic)!

He's talking about m.p.b

He said, ''these people did this to themselves we didn't'' but 25% of people who develop oral cancer don't even use tobacco products, so not all of them did!

But 75% of people did wheras 0% of m.p.b sufferers did it to themselves.

I'm just saying that it does happen to a lot of people without their contribution.
yes, but i said ''he did it to himself''
i didn't talk about every smoker. i've been a smoker for years, i don't have cancer. if i got cancer, it would be my fault and it would be f*cking horrible but i couldn't really whine about it. if i punch a wall and break my fist, it's not the wall's fault.

we didn't give ourselves male pattern baldness. if chicken caused male pattern baldness i'm pretty sure we'd all go militant vegetarian asap. and i love chicken.
it's just a ridiculous comparison or argument to even have to have. that was his fault. this is not our fault.

and here man i just wanna say, if i come across as aggressive or whatever it's only cause i've had a bit to drink and the words are flowing freely. yours is one of the few names on this forum that i know instantly and i know what you've done and tried to do to help the users of this forum. so this isn't me trying to attack you personally or anything. but if you're comparing someone getting male pattern baldness to a heavy smoker getting lung cancer then you really need to re evaluate your line of thought. there's no similarity whatsoever.
