After about a year of using 2% minoxidil, and more recently 6 weeks of using 5% minoxidil on the hairline corners, I'm seriously considering giving it up.
I don't believe that it has helped me at all - and think maybe in ways it possibly speeded up the process (of course I will never really know). Anyway, I hope that my hairline corners don't now completely fall out. Fingers crossed.
I think rogaine is a temporary solution at best and when you want to live your life and forget about hairloss, the two applications a day make that hard to do.
BTW...I've just read on the bottle that it is both for regrowth AND preventing future hair loss - how true is it that it can slow down hair loss? Are there any studies to show that it does slow the process? I hear mixed reports all the time.
