Stopping treatments for army

I'm in the process of joining the army. The thing I'm worried about is stopping nizoral/regenepure and rogaine. Last time I didn't use nizoral was when I was in europe for only a cple weeks, and during that time I shed so much hair, I couldn't believe it. Not to mention I have horrible dandruff so I almost need some kind of anti-dandruff shampoo. The army is 10 weeks+ so that can't be good. Obviously I can't bring nizoral/rogaine to boot camp, so is the army really a good idea for me if i'm wanting to maintain my hair? I'm at the point where if I lose much more hair it'll look really bad and I'm only 21.

This is a double-edged sword really. I was nearly about to join the Navy (I already passed all the tests and all I had to do was a bit more paperwork but I eventually backed out) I started balding at the age of 19-20 and I talked with the recruiter about being able to stay on my own hairloss treatments and he said to me..

"You know kid, you need to man up and don't worry about hair, let women worry about vanity and NO, you only get what we give you." That's not exactly how he said it as it's been nearly 5 years since then but that's the gist of it.

After that I decided that the Navy wasn't for me or any military branch for that matter because the military would only last me 20 years but my hair loss would last me the rest of my life.

So no, from my experience you don't get anything but average shampoo but I could be wrong and the Army may be different than the Navy.

I know nothing about the military, but isn't their someone like a recruiter who you can speak with?

I joined a year ago. No you cant have that stuff in bootcamp, but let me reassure you that I lost no ground in the 10 weeks I was off of my treatments.
