They just did a "teaser" announcing the story would be on sometime this hour. No idea what it's about, but alluded to a new treatment.

Jeff, I imagine that you're correct...but you need to stop being so negative. I posted it as a courtesy to members who might want to tune in just for grins. I'm guessing you're doing just that...but you'll need to go to FOX NEWS (i.e., the 24 hour cable news channel), not your local "FOX 13." Criminy...

It was about hair cloning. A guy named Dr. Ken Washenik from Bosley. Sounds like they're developing it for a commercial treatment. They are going into phase 1 clinical trials. They are predicting 2009-2010 for first generation launch. They claim cost is expected to be along the lines of other cosmetic surgeries.

So, no new drug reported...but for you guys that would consider hair cloning - sounds like things are well on their way.

Intercytex over here in the UK are leading the way with hair cloning. They are nearing the end of Phase 1 trials.

Dr. Washenik is head of Aderans Research Institution. They are the best competition at the moment for intercytex. From what I understand, Washenik is pretty honest, and is rather conservative in his estimates. They have an interview somewhere at hairlosshelp.com where he goes in-depth about where they are now, what will be possible with the first generation of HM, and a bunch of other questions.

I really hope this gets past all the testing. I will start saving to get the treatment now. As I think its going to cost so much to get it.

Well worth it though!!
