Strange hairloss....

I'm losing hair on my right temple. But not where one would normally recede, it's much lower on the side of my head. It's mostly only the right side, but I guess the left is thinner than it used to be. I think it started when I took finasteride but hasn't come back since I quit 3 months ago. It's getting worse. Other abnormal hair loss is along the hair line around the ears and back of my head (at the top of the neck).

The most noticeable is the right temple. Is anyone else loosing hair like this????? It just looks plain weird.

Otherwise I'm a diffuse thinner.

I can affiliate with your story. I am a diffuse thinner, almost two years on finasteride now without much success (recently added spironolactone), and i have the same thing going on, especially with my left temple. It is mainly the area above my temple and further back near my ear. But my left temple itself is also receeding. My right temple, on the other hand, is (still) nearly intact.
It's really strange, can't find an explanation for it myself..

I am also loosing hair on my side temples but the loss is more on the right side. I started with minoxidil and had to give up as it was giving me pain and inflammation. I went on to the naturalis topical which has helped to regrow hair on the temples but it is slow regrowth.
