Coming up around 3 years of slow diffuse thinning. Over these years i've changed my hair style almost on a monthly basis and I can't seem to find anything that looks decent on me

I thinking of just cutting it pretty short, yet again my ears stick out...

suggestions?

I'm in the same boat: very diffuse thinning and big pointy ears to boot.

Mine has thinned out so much that I pretty much have to go with very short hair. Makes my ears stick out like a sore thumb that much more but I guess I am used to it now and don't mind as much as I did early on. I would advise also that you get it cut real short. Now that spring is here it is the best time to get it cut short anyway and the sooner you get it done the sooner you will get used to it.

a small piece of blu-tack behind each ear will allow you to pin them back with ease.

Or just go with it and if anyone takes the piss out of your ears tell them the reason your ears stick out is because 'everytime you f*** their mother she gives them a little tug'.
