Study on a laser comb (LDS 100)

Came across this on HLH. What do we think of it?

I must say, I'm thinking about getting a laser comb for the hell of it, just in case it might do some marginal good to my hair. I can afford it and I want to do everything I can to grow back my hair.

The device in this study uses infrared light, which is a different wavelength than the Hairmax lasercomb: 840 nm versus 655 nm (lasercomb)... - which is not to say that the lasercomb doesn't work.
