Has anyone here have any success with rotating minoxidil with Rogaine Foam in the morning for the daytime, and Liquid 5% minoxidil for night before bed?

Bump...

Just wanting to make sure everyone sees this thread... and maybe people who have used this method to step forward... I'd like to try it because I hate being a greaseball during the day from liquid minoxidil :woot: :punk:

to me, this has always made the most sense. i've been meaning to try it for like a year now but i always forgot to pickup the liquid minoxidil and now i'm using Xandrox 15+ at night in place of foam anyway.

you avoid the greasiness of liquid during the day and if one or the other is more effective (lot of debate, some people claiming foam is better, others say liquid), you're going to benefit either way

Yeah, that's true! Plus the premium cost for foam is cut in half because you're only using it once a day instead of twice, which means a month's bottle is now good for 2 :)

I use liquid all over my scalp, and foam on the temples, just in case the foam works better than liquid, I feel like I'm covering all the bases. My temples are my worst spot, plus I don't think I would even be able to apply the foam anywhere else.

I've never really had experience with the foam... is it too dense to apply to areas with more hair, like the crown?

Yeah, it's pretty hard to get in there. It's basically the consistency of styling mousse. I guess if you don't mind it getting on your hair, some of it will come into contact with your scalp.
