Suggestions for a long time minoxidil user

I have been on minoxidil for about 9 years and finasteride/nizoral for about 7 years. Still I have been gradually but slowly losing hair during the time, with about 2 horrible sheds that gave me almost a heart attack. well, my hairloss at this point in pretty bad, and I fear that minoz/finasteride/nizoral have lost their growing power. Would you have any suggestions of what I can try to change things up a bit? is there anybody is my situation that tried something different that worked? any input would be great

I am no expert, but I would suggest a "reboot," stay off the medication for a few weeks (perhaps 3) and return on them. I am not sure the concept will work in practice but I have heard stories. I would consult with your Dr. if you are concerned

well, I kind of tried that last year for a few months where I felt my hair hit a plateau and wasn't getting any worse. but, it did during my break, and went back on and experienced my second big shed. (First was when I fist started using finasteride)
