Actually a similar article was posted in another section yesterday. It's interesting, but they don't exactly say outright that they have definitively discovered the root cause.

What they state are observations of the cells which are not growing terminal hairs. However they don't really say what causes it, only a possible way to "fix" it.

Until they find the CAUSE of their observations though, i don't think they will be too successful..

but then again, i just skimmed through the article, so don't bash me if im not 100% correct :)

Yeah but there have been so many simalar stories in the past 10 yrs this does'nt give me any hope.

Yeah I heard about this on the news this morning. It's a step in the right direction, but still nothing concrete.

I couldn't really work out what was new either. We've already known for years that the hair doesn't stop growing, rather it just miniaturises until it is microscopic in size. Wake me up when they can reverse it.

Perhaps, but I need these hopes now and then. Even if they're false hopes haha

I'm hoping to hold it off long enough with the big 3 until the cure is found. I mean it will have to come someday.
