Hi,

Two first pics are from 2 years ago, 6 next are from 6 months ago ( approximative ) , and 3 last ones are from now.

I completly shaved my head 2 weeks ago. ( check if total bald could fit on me ( but nope lol ) )

Think i started loose my hair 3 years ago but really slowly, and actually i just noticed 1 year ago that I was loosing them.

But since 6 months now, i thnik the process is gettin bad very quickly.

Just started fina treatment 5 days ago. Have a normal life without any health trouble.

Have no idea why this is gettin so bad so fast, if you have any suggest, or heard about similar situation ??

Am feeling a bit scary now am loonkin my last pics...

Thanks a lot ;)

Diffuse thinning like this is always the most aggressive case its actually scary. Mine is also similar to this, im 21 and have a similar final pattern to you but I did not wait that long to get on meds. Now I am still losing hair but being hopeful that it starts to kick in soon.

What made you wait for 3 years to get on medication? What is your family history of hair loss? Do both sides of the family lose their hair young?

That's really fast indeed. I hope that finasteride will work very well on you. How old are you hiboux689? Do you have a family history of aggressive pattern hair loss?

Hi hair ball, am 25 y old, and I use to have long hair all my life :/ Yes there is some bold guys in my family but never heard about an agressive hair loss.

I know there is some people who ar loosing it really fast, but its always because of something happen in their life, for me its just happen like that.

I still cant believe it, and its really hard to go through that situation, am thinkin about some chirurgical intervention now...

Hope finasteride will do the job for the rest

I have been on for just under 3 months now. You really need to use both finasteride and minoxidil if you want a chance at keeping what you have or even getting a little regrowth. Honestly, even then it might be too late. In that first picture you showed, it looks like you have been receding for a while although you might not have had thinning until recently. So technically it looks like you have been losing hair for closer to maybe 5 years or even more.

Are you sure your dad or someone else very close in your family also didnt have aggressive balding? Am I correct in assuming that your dad is full norwood 6 bald since the time that you knew him?

Jesus, you should’ve been on finasteride 2 years ago.

What’d your hair look like right before you shaved? I might be dealing with a similar situation...

Agree with recedingornot, you were definitely balding before the first two pics. Your hairline/temples were already visibly receded. The top/crown is always noticeable when it is bad because you cannot see it until it is too late and either someone points it out or you see it in a photo or something. You were probably thinning there too earlier than two years ago.

If I were you I would grow my hair out and put some hair concealer in my hair, like Toppik. Stick with the Finasteride and add Minoxidil (there are sensitive versions without propylene glycol which is what causes the irritation). Look into dermarolling as well and using Nizoral or w Caffeine based shampoo. If you use these for a year I would anticipate you will get a good amount of hair back.

That's really agressive.

Agressive or non-agressive, you can always receive gains from the big 3.

My dad is 67 y old and I would say that he is norwood 3 now. He just started loosing his hair 3 years ago. I mean visibly. But he have a cancer since maybe 10 years now. My grand father was norwood 2 at 98 years old. Maybe norwood 5 at 105 years old.

But u probably right about the fact that am loosing them since a long time ago.

I had project that i nood to stop now to focus on retrieving my hair.

Think i gonna do chirurgical operation. I think I gonna restart minoxidil after the operation.

The big 3 are finasteride/dutasteride, minoxidil and nizoral. I would also recommend dermarolling.
