switching fro finasteride to dutasteride, will i shed?

will i shed again from dutasteride if i'm already on finasteride for 3+ years?

any other advice or things to watch for with the switch, besides my wallet?

sadly there is no way anyone could give you a definitive answer on this point. of those who have switched some have shed and some havent. theres no real way to predict how these drugs will work in you.

Right, from the posts I read here some switcher shed and some didnt

I think it make sense to start Avodart with a smaller dose and let the shedding begin and subside, then increase the dose as desired.

I am too switching from finasteride to Avodart and starting with 0.5mg 4 times a week (Tue, Thur, Sat , Sun) It kind of make sense to me to assume it should shed less and less noticeable with a smaller dose, if shedding does happen

Thanks. So Avodart is the way to go then, and just accept the fact that I might shed...ok. Is is suggested to start with .5mg only 4 times a week? Why?

Is taking finasteride and avodart at the same time a no-no....like just during the transition period?
