Matt: I don't think anyone believes T has no affect on male pattern baldness. Just that DHT has more of an affect. The problem with removing all T is our bodies might be badly affected? T isn't all bad, you know, it helps to "make us men".

I definitely don't want to remove all my T just to stop hairloss. That then turns me into a girl....

What I am pissed off at is more of:

1) They don't disclose all information (surprise surprise!! Maybe I am naive).

2) It gives unrealistic expectation to people

3) If proven true, it could mean that for certain men, hairloss maybe exascerbated by taking these drugs (I guess relatively small number of cases)

Well Fluridil is supposed to surpress the human androgen receptor so doesnt this mean that testosterone cant bind and reek havok on our hair follicles?

spironolactone is also supposed to convert testosterone into estrogen in the scalp when applied topically.

I would not recommend this particular regimen, unless you are transsexual (I am, apologies if you weren't aware). They will have some dramatic effects on your body, probably more than you bargained for :D

It is interesting that I seem to have had better than average results to Finasteride though; I would love to know if it is a direct result of the anti androgens.

ok, so you've had significant hair regrowth to the extent that you may or may not (i'm guessing) now have a complete, and in fact female, hairline?

Just out of curiousity, (and if you don't mind me asking) how long did it take for your hair to grow back and how developed was your male pattern baldness beforehand?

Also has your hair completely grown back or does it, at least, seem like it's heading that way?

Thanks.
