Good question re Paddy. He had a massive bald spot a few years back. Either a piece or covered in toppik. I don't like the show and don't watch it, but noticed on that one episode that there didn't seem to be any shots of the top or back of his head, a mystery!

Sorry I joined the thread late, but getting back to the crux of the matter.... I think this is by the far the most significant piece of information

none of em wanted to date him?????? so i just watched the show. ....

Only 6 women of 30 turned there lights of for him at first impression (looks only) so only 20% of women didn't like bald.
Twice as many turned off there lights when he said he lives next door to his parents .

I've watched this show many, many times and this is consistently the main reason every time for all the women switching their lights off...

Sure baldness is an unacceptable trait for 20% of women no doubt, but being mid20s male and still living at home with your parents is completely unacceptable for 100% of women!

Only the other week on that show, some tall, handsome stacked, black dude (by any girl's standards a very attractive male) got through the 3 stages and chose to go on a date with some blonde chick out of the various other girls who were still interested...

....however while on the date, as soon as he revealed he still lived at home with his mother, the attraction was over instantly! From that moment on she was completely condenscending and addressed him like a little boy, clearly no longer had an ounce of respect for him as an adult male...

Sure we all have our own personal reasons and valid circumstances for living with our parents (myself included)..... but don't expect any girl to still find you attractive/take you seriously once you reveal to them you still live with your parents...:D

It's happened to me before as well with some girl who wasn't even remotely hot, I just wanted a quick slam, but when I went on a second date with her and she sussed that I wasn't 100% financially independent from my parents... she completely lost all interest immeadiately... and gave me all "lets just be the friends" bs...

On the otherhand, I've gone out there before and successfully sold the illusion to plenty of MUCH, MUCH hotter girls, that I'm some 100% independent guy, with my own apartment, who's got his sh*t got together, good job etc etc... and slammed them all! :D

So it just goes to show, women treat male independence as a vital pre-requisite when choosing a man... more important even than hair!!! Who would've thought eh??? :freaked2::gay2:

I agree with you Primo, but this particular guy was probably in his 30s, a wealthy independent bussinessman who was building his own house next to his parent's house. Not quite the same thing, and yet he was still rejected by most.

Cant one have independence and still be living with parents to care for them in their old age? Parents can be very useful to care for grandkids, making it possible to the new-parents to get some sleep when infants are in the picture.

I don't see a link .. but looking through youtube, I came across this one .. I don't think it's the same one because this guy had 22 lights turned off on him .. damn lol .. it probably had more to do than his lack of hair .. not the best looking dude .. but one woman had no problem stating her dislike had something to do with his follically challenged head ..

that's a different one but it's even worse: 'I don't want to be able to see my reflection in his head'

I think I would be happy if 50% of the women turned their lights off when I came down the lift, some of the women on that show are absolute hogs.

I seen the last part of an episode on Saturday and there was a balding thin guy with his NW4 outlined, dressed smartly and with some geeky/glee type glasses on who near enough had the pick of the litter. I missed most of his comings, but I assume he was a quirky/cool-nerdy type guy from the little bit that I saw of him.
He was by no means a hunk. A decent looking guy but in good shape and the key no doubt was coming across as independent, confident and open minded.

I agree to an extent that you need to have something about you from the get go, but this can be worked on and its all to do with body chemistry and confidence.

Hairloss makes it harder and I imagine if you are 19-20 it might be hard work to get a date, but honestly, once over 25 it certainly will get better. If you are over 25, take a look around your workplace, friends and family. How many of them are starting to show signs of age? The bingo wings, the hair thinning, the beer gut bulging over the old skin-tight top that 3 years ago was a perfect fit.
Nobody is perfect and although women will dream of a guy with girl. Much like guys dream of an exotic type with huge breasts, wonder thighs and a shaped bum. We can assert between reality and fantasy.

So much of this is in your mind, folks it's unbelievable. I know we look better with hair, but take a decision and try and move on with that. If it's a bit of concealer, do it and live your life, if it's a wig, do it and rock the best look you can with a wig or if it's the shaved or thinning look - do that and live with it.

Confidence breaths so much life and attraction. Get in shape. Look as sharp and good as you can. If you are over weight, try losing a bit or shaping that fat into a toned shape. Be the best you can be and you will get women.
You might go into the bar at the start of the night and not get the first glance, but if you have all things in shape and assert yourself, you'll be the one leaving with the women thinking of you
