Taking both Dutas and Finpecia - works great

After taking Dutas for about 2 years (.5 every day), I seemed to have maxed out on results. So I decided to alternate Finpecia & Dutas (take finpecia pill 1 day, .5Dutas the next day, etc). In addition, my regimen includes spironolactone at night, and 5% minoxidil twice a day, MSM pills, and Revo shampoo. I noticed a nice improvement after about 3 months.

Any else experience/tried this with similar results? What would the medical explanation be?

I've been on AvoDart for 5 1/2 years and have since noticed the last 3-4 months have been quite bad for my hair. I enjoyed a nice 4-5 year period of nearly zero hair loss while taking AvoDart. Apparently my hair loss is catching up. I posted a question to the board recently asking whether I should combine Finasteride with AvoDart in my regimen and nearly everyone said that it was a bad idea. Who knows anymore - if it's working for you and you can tolerate the side effects, keep it going.

do you use real avodart ? do you use every day or EOD ?

Hello Jo, I can`t bring any info but I`m interested in your experience.I`m taking 0.5mg of Avodart every day.
It would be very interesting to see some pics of your process since you started with the treatment.
