Taking Finasteride For A Year - Shedding ? Seasonal Phase?

Hello,

I'm new here, and I have been taking finasteride (Proscar - 1.25 mg ) for one year, with great success. But in this first month after completing the one year on it, i have been shedding and losing hair a lot.
I don't know if the finasteride stop working or its a seasonal phase or a shedding of finasteride [Its possible to shed after one year on it ?].
Can someone give me some light on this subject ?



*I already scheduled a consultation with the doctor that prescribe me the finateride in order to discover what is happening.

Hey whats going on man, just wondering if you have an update on this, I am in a very similar situation. Had good results after an initial and second shed through the first year now im on month 13 and im shedding like a dog these past couple months. Losing a ton of density, would love to know if the shedding stopped and if you recovered

Hi , I don't know yet, i think its getting better - but not sure for now - the shedding slowed down for now - i hoping to gain the amount that i lost.

yea the same thing happened to me, or so i thought. a couple weeks ago i thought the shedding was slowing down but low and behold, naaaa, more hands in my hair than ever yesterday sh*t was crazy. Im just literally praying to the gods this shed ends and i get some regrowth, keep the thread posted with what happens no one ever responds to shed threads
