Taking finasteride while being already depressed and anxious

It is a bad idea? The depression and anxiety started before hairloss btw. minoxidil gave me sides so officialy the only other option left is finasteride.

Taking finasteride means you're gonna have one less thing to be depressed about. It's up to you. Also minoxidil is completely useless long term without using finasteride with it.

Depression from hair loss was more of a risk for me than getting depressed on finasteride.
