I'm 27 and I just got my haircut yesterday and the girl that cuts my hair kept talking about how thin it is getting and I decided that I need to take action. I've scheduled a doctors appointment to get on propecia and am about to buy some Rogain foam. I'm already using Nizoral for my itchy flaky scalp so I am good there. From my pictures, what do you guys think I can expect after a year of use? All of my hairloss is in the front so I'm guessing I will just be maintaining but any extra opinions or advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I can't believe it's already been 3 months since I started the big 3. I haven't had any side effects yet and the routine really hasn't disturbed my life in any way. My friends and girlfriend think that it's cool that I am trying this stuff out. I guess they view me as some sort of science experiment. Here are some updated pics.

I think you made a good decision. I don't regret going on the big 3 when I was 25. I'm 30 now. I think you stand a good chance of getting decent regrowth, especially if your condition is not super aggressive as it would seem. Understand that if you start propecia and rogaine ou will more then likely get worse before it gets better but persevere! Keep us up to date.

So have you maintained your hair in the 5 years you have been on the big 3? My hair loss isn't super aggressive so I'm hoping to get a little regrowth but I would honestly be happy wiht just maintaining. Neither my dad or grandpa is totally bald but they both have noticeably disfuse thin hair.

I'm coming up to 6 years on the big 3 now. Hair has pretty much maintained, and if it has gotten worse, it's only slightly.
